Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen
Crumb Rubber Bitumen (CRMB) is a special type of bitumen whose properties are improve by the addition of crumb rubber. Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen is manufactured by mixing of crumb rubber powder and Bitumen in a high sheared mixing machine at a higher temperature. Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen can be classified or grouped depending on the penetration and softening point. CRMB is available in grades 50, 55, and 60.
CRMB is the most appropriate for Indian road condition and can be used for wearing courses at heavy trafficked roads, busy intersections, bridge decks and roundabouts for increased life of the surfacing. It is highly durable and dependable economical solution for ravelling undulation, rutting, bleeding, shoving and potholes solutions.
